Get Boston Strong

by Coach Russ Jones

Inspiring is the only word not only for Meb Keflezighi the first American in 31 years to win the Boston marathon and the other 35,000 finishers who completed the event only one year anniversary after the bombings. Many of the disabled from the bombings were able to complete the event, that should inspire us to get into and stay in shape. Time is such a valuable commodity, running or power walking is still the best way if one has a busy work schedule or lifestyle. Running or power walking one gets great health benefits for only 30 min 4 X 5 per week. One does not need a gym to run or walk and it is great to breath the fresh air of the great outdoors. Their are many health benefits from running, power walking or other exercises that I will go into on future blogs. Add collagen to your daily regimen for stronger bones, tendons, ligaments and muscles, it has helped me compete at a high level and most important keep HEALTHY.
